Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It has been announced that two local Blockbuster stores are on the list of 300 stores that are being closed nationwide.
The stores are located at 3510 E. Bonanza Road, near Pecos Road, and 2225 E. Centennial Parkway in North Las Vegas.
According to Blockbuster, some of the stores are closing because of poor sales. Other stores are being closed because they are near the end of their leases.
Approximately 3,000 people will be out of the job because of the closings.
The reason for the closing of the local stores was not given.
