Reno police probe fatal north-side head-on crash
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Reno police continue to investigate a deadly head-on crash on the north side of town.
Police say a northbound vehicle on Sutro apparently veered into the southbound lanes and was hit by a southbound vehicle about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
One person was killed. Three others were taken to a local hospital but their injuries are not considered life threatening.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Paintbrush north of Oddie Boulevard. It forced the closure for several hours of Sutro between Wedekind and North McCarran.
