Henderson woman and dogs escape fire near Pecos & Wigwam
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- A Henderson woman and her two dogs are safe this morning after a smoke detector alerted her to a fire in her garage.
The Henderson Fire Department responded to a reported fire at about 1:40 a.m. this morning near Pecos Road and Wigwam Parkway.
A woman was asleep when the fire started.
The fire department discovered a fire in a wall of an attached garage. They were able put the fire out quickly.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
The American Red Cross will assist the woman.
