Locals celebrate Martin Luther King Day early
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Martin Luther King Day is Monday, Jan. 21, but people in the Valley celebrated the life and legacy of the activist Sunday, who fought so hard for racial equality.
Sunday, a church filled the air with praise and music all in his honor.
Crowds participated in a gospel extravaganza.
There was plenty of singing, and dance routines were also part of the event.
The event wrapped up at the 2nd Baptist Church on Madison Avenue.
