Firefighters respond to several fires early Sunday morning
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to two early morning fires. Both happened just blocks from each other.
The first happened on Princeton Street around 1:15 a.m.
Firefighters found the fire outside of the one-story vacant house. The fire was out within minutes and did not enter the house.
The cause is unknown at this time. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
Then, several hours later, firefighters were called to the Diamond Head Apartments on North Decatur.
A fire was located on the outside balcony of a downstairs apartment. Damage was limited to the balcony area but was still estimated at $75,000.
No one was home at the time of the fire. One adult and two children will be displaced.
Both of these fires were called in by neighbors, who reported seeing heavy flames.
Also Sunday morning, Clark County Fire & Rescue was called a house fire.
It happened on Hoopa Lane, near Viking and Eastern.
The American Red Cross responded to the scene and assisted the residents.
It's unclear what started the fire or how much damage was caused.
