Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's new idea growing here in the Valley: An open air market centered around a community garden.
It's called "Market Place at the Roots."
Saturday, was the first time organizers put on the event.
It featured dozens of vendors and gave people a chance to buy organic vegetables grown in the "Vegas Roots Community Garden."
"Market Place at the Roots" will be held every second and third Saturday.
Admission is free.
