Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Clark County School District Police reassured the community about their ability to handle a crisis.
On Friday, they held a tour to showcase their operations which include a mobile command center, training department, field initiative team and communications center.
Officers want parents to know they're ready for anything and able to respond if anyone tries to harm a student.
Department officials said, even though the federal government is offering money for more security, they believe they're already prepared for anything and have no plans to make changes.
