Reid announces $14 million USDA loan for Boulder City Hospital

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Sen. Harry Reid has announced that a loan for almost $14 million has been given to the Boulder City Hospital.

The loan of $13,877,228 comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development fund and will be used to complete a major renovation and expansion.

Plans include remodeling the pharmacy, home health, lab and dietary areas.

Surgery, physical therapy, long-term care and the admissions lobby will be renovated and expanded.

The emergency department will also be expanded by more than 5,100 square feet.
