North Las Vegas Police officer urges pedestrian safey
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- North Las Vegas Police officer Chrissie Coon joined Action News to discuss pedestrian safety.
2013 has started off as a deadly year on local roadways, much like most of 2012.
Officer Coon said police are still working to get the message across that pedestrians need to be aware of their surroundings and be alert while crossing the street.
Drivers also need to slow down for pedestrians, especially at crosswalks and intersections.
Officer Coon also took some time to answer Action News viewers' questions submitted on Facebook.
