Concrete truck driver killed in crash identified

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the driver of the concrete truck involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday afternoon as 44-year-old Richard C. Wood from Las Vegas.
The accident happened on Summerlin Parkway at about 1:15 p.m. Jan. 16. The accident also involved a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department truck.
A civilian tried to rescue the concrete truck driver after his truck careened into an embankment but was unsuccessful.
The police officers received minor injuries and were hospitalized.
