Woman dead after motorcycle crash in northeast Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in northeast Las Vegas late Wednesday morning.
Authorities said a sedan and a motorcycle were involved in a collision on East Carey Avenue near Sandy Lane at about 11:30 a.m.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. She was 45 years old.
The intersection of East Carey and Sandy Lane was shut down for hours as detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
