Nevada governor to give State of State
CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) -- Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval will reflect on his first two years in office and outline his priorities for the upcoming legislative session when he delivers his State of the State address in Carson City.
The Republican governor's speech Wednesday night before Nevada lawmakers comes on the same day Sandoval will release his budget proposal for the two-year spending cycle that begins July 1.
The governor's speech begins at 6 p.m. and will be televised statewide. It can also be viewed on the Internet through the Legislature's website.
State Senate Majority Leader Mo Denis of Las Vegas will give the Democratic response to Sandoval's remarks immediately afterward.
