Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The 14-year-old girl hit by a car earlier this month is now home with her family.
Veda Melody was thrown 40 feet when she was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Pioneer and Alexander.
She spent several days at University Medical Center being treated for a broken pelvis.
Police say Veda was in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
