Las Vegas lawyer sentenced to 2 years in prison for tax evasion
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas lawyer was sentenced to two years in prison on Monday after pleading guilty to tax evasion.
Charles C. LoBello was ordered to pay $260,625 in restitution to the IRS and must self-report to federal prison on April 15.
LoBello is accused of concealing more than $900,000 in income and hiding information from his bookkeeper and tax return preparer.
Court records state LoBello used personal checking accounts to hide checks he received.
LoBello's tax evasion took place from 2001 to 2005, according to the Department of Justice.
