Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Friends and family of 18-year-old Jesse Hill remembered his life Wednesday at Northwest Career and Technical Academy.
Jesse was killed on New Year's Day on Gliding Eagle Road in North Las Vegas, when 19-year-old Christian Ivan Diaz sped through the neighborhood and lost control of the car.
Hill's 16-year-old girlfriend Amberie Ricci was also injured in the incident. She is currently in good condition at UMC.
Police said the driver was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol and will likely face felony charges.
