Thousands flock to Las Vegas for CES 2013
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- CES is now off and running here in Las Vegas.
With the massive innovation event, thousands are flocking to the Valley.
More than 1,200 exhibitors are showcasing wireless technologies at this year's CES.
20 tech zones are also set-up, and feature the largest collection of the newest technology the industry has to offer.
An estimated 155,000 people are in Las Vegas for the show.
McCarran International Airport said this year has been huge for them. They had a record number of taxis Monday, with more than 17,000 loaded that day alone.
The previous record was around 14,000 in 2011.
But it's not the only record.
2012 was a record year for taxis heading to town, with more than 3.3 million loaded.
