Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two people are dead and another injured after an attempted robbery at an apartment complex near East Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Harbor Island Apartments.
Las Vegas Police said a 24-year old man came to the front office of the apartment complex with a gunshot wound on his leg and told them his apartment was being robbed by three black males.
Upon a welfare check, LVMPD found two people deceased inside the apartment.
LVMPD said multiple rounds were fired and stray bullets went through walls into other apartments. No other tenants were injured.
All three suspects reportedly fled on foot, and police are currently searching the area.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the scene.
