New TV ads promote Las Vegas tourism
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A new set of TV advertisements to promote Las Vegas tourism were rolled out on Monday.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority just launched LasVegas.com as the official resource for planning a trip to Sin City. The site replaces VisitLasVegas.com.
The new commercials were created to promote tourism to Las Vegas, and to encourage visitors to use the official website to plan their trips.
They feature a middle-aged man named Mr. Las Vegasdotcom, who frequently mistaken for the website. People ask him questions in the commercials about popular Las Vegas destinations and events.
The commercials mention Donny and Marie's show, Celine Dion's residency, the secret pizza at The Cosmopolitan and more.
National and cable networks started showing the new ads on Monday.
