Pair arrested in death of man outside convenience store

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las police have involved two men that they believe are involved in the death of a person found on the sidewalk in the 700 block of East Twain Avenue early Monday night.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call that a person was being beat by at least two people at about 5:40 p.m. Upon arrival, patrol officers found an adult male on the sidewalk suffering from apparent stab wounds and blunt force trauma.

The victim was transported to Sunrise Trauma Medical Center where we was later pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives were able to determine that the victim was involved in an altercation with a clerk in a nearby convenience store.

As a result of their investigation, 30-year-old Genaro Padilla Jr. and 56-year-old Kenneth Glosson, both of Las Vegas, were arrested in connection with the crime.

Padilla and Glosson have been booked into the Clark County Detention Center and are facing one count each of first degree murder with a deadly weapon.

The identity of the victim and the official cause of death will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
