Chief judge named for North Las Vegas Justice Court
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Chris Lee has been named Chief Judge of North Las Vegas Justice Court.
Lee's two-year term will begin Jan. 7.
Justice courts with three or more judges elect a chief judge.
Judge Chris Lee will oversee North Las Vegas Justice Court, working with former Chief Judge Natalie Tyrrell and newly elected Judge Kalani Hoo, who replaced Stephen Dahl after he retired in 2012.
Judge Lee grew up in Southern Nevada and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School. He went on to attend Occidental College. After graduating, Lee attended Santa Clara University Law School.
He is married and the father of two children.
