Families receive Christmas presents after losing everything in fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Even though Christmas has passed, two families celebrated the holiday again, after losing everything in a fire.
On Sunday, Operation Fire H.E.A.T. replaced Christmas presents for two local families.
Last Thursday, a fire destroyed everything in their home on Snow Cactus Avenue. That included the children's Christmas presents.
"They woke up Christmas morning, opened their presents and having a good time and playing with them for a week. Now, everything is gone, so at least we're able to go and give them their Christmas back," said Fred Wechselberger, president of Operation Fire H.E.A.T.
Clark County Fire Department firefighters were also on hand Sunday to deliver the presents.
