Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Locals did their part Saturday to help children who suffer from hair loss.
Disney on Ice invited the Las Vegas community to participate in a hair donation campaign.
The donated hair will go to Wigs for Kids, a charity that benefits kids suffering from hair loss.
The event kicked off Saturday at Galleria on Sunset.
Those who donated at least 10-inches of hair were given two free tickets to Disney on Ice.
Donations will continue to be accepted through Jan. 15 at participating salons. The Disney tickets will be given out while supplies last.
