Las Vegas man hit, killed while walking on Tropicana
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Police have confirmed that a pedestrian was hit and killed late Friday night.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Tropicana Avenue, near Decatur Boulevard.
According to the preliminary investigation, the 35-year old man was outside the marked crosswalk when he was hit. He was taken to UMC, but died from his injuries.
The man's name has not been released.
Tropicana was shut down much of the morning between Decatur and Cameron.
The investigation into what exactly happened is ongoing.
