Flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas diverted in Phoenix
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Delta flight heading from Atlanta to Las Vegas was diverted in Phoenix on Friday night.
A spokesperson for Delta said the captain of flight #65 diverted the Boeing 757 to Phoenix when a warning light came on, indicating a possible problem with one of the engines.
The aircraft, carrying 184 passengers, landed in Phoenix safely. It's not clear what exactly was wrong with the plane's engine.
Passengers were placed on a new aircraft, scheduled to arrive in Las Vegas just before 8:30 p.m.
