Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Prosecutors at the District Attorney's will seek the death penalty against Nathan Burkett.
Burkett is accused in three cold case murders that date as far back as 1978.
All three women were strangled before their bodies were found in a neighborhood near Burkett's apartment.
Police said they linked Burkett to the murders through DNA evidents.
Burkett claims he is not guilty.
