Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Macy's has announced that it will close its Bloomingdale's location at the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip.
According to a press release from Macy's, the store will close in early spring. The Las Vegas location is one of six that is closing.
Final clearance sales will begin on Sunday, Jan. 6, at the local store and will last between 7 and 11 weeks.
Bloomingdale's employs 35 people in Las Vegas.
Macy's also announced closures of stores in California, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Minnesota and Texas.
The closures are described as "normal-course adjustments to stores portfolio" and target under-performing stores that no longer meet performance requirements.
