Las Vegas ranks among drunkest cities in the U.S.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A new report by the Daily Beast ranks Las Vegas as one of the drunkest cities in the United States.

Las Vegas comes in at #21 on the list.

The list was compiled based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing statistics on binge drinkers and heavy drinkers.

Market research on the average number of drinks consumed by adults from Experian was also considered.

In Las Vegas, data shows adults have an average of 13.5 alcoholic drinks a month, while 17.5 percent of the population are considered binge drinkers.

Boston came in at number one on the list of drunkest cities in the U.S., followed by Norfolk, Virginia and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
