Coroner identifies young man killed on North Las Vegas sidewalk
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the 18-year-old young man killed while walking on a North Las Vegas sidewalk on Tuesday as Jesse Hill.
Hill and a 16-year-old female were walking on Gliding Eagle Road when they were hit by a car driven by 19-year-old Cristian Ivan Diaz.
The female is still in critical condition at University Medical Center.
Diaz faces charges of failure to maintain a travel lane and failure to get a Nevada driver's license within thirty days. A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Ricardo Daniel Valazquez faces charges of possessing marijuana and destruction of evidence.
