Plane catches fire at North Las Vegas Airport
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A small plane caught fire at the North Las Vegas Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
According to an FAA spokesperson, a twin-engine Piper Aerostar veered off the runway after landing at 4:15 p.m.
Local officials said the pilot and passenger were on board. Neither were injured.
It's not clear what caused the plane to veer off the runway and catch fire.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
