Police search for young woman who stole from local store
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a young woman who stole merchandise from a store near Charleston and Interstate 15.
Police said the woman entered the hotel the afternoon of November 17. An employee saw the woman put merchandise in the bags. As she was leaving the store, security approached her. She reacted by spraying the security employee with pepper spray in the face.
The woman then ran off.
She is described as about 18-year-old, about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, floral patterned shirt and white shorts.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
