Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- As the tech industry elite descend upon Las Vegas for CES, one local group hopes to shine the spotlight on technological innovation taking place right here in town.

Demo Vegas will take place the evening of Tuesday, January 8 as the first day of International CES comes to a close.

Organizers are inviting CES attendees to spend the evening learning about startup companies in the Las Vegas community.

The event, set to take place at InNEVation off the Strip, will include pitches, collaboration and networking -- all over food and drinks.

Among the local startups pitching at Demo Vegas are Ticket Cake, Romotive and Tracky.

Demo Vegas will also feature "fireside chats" for guests to connect with executives from Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as network with each other.

The event is free for CES attendees, but all tech enthusiasts are invited. For ticket information, click here.

Since InNEVation is located a few miles off the Strip, Demo Vegas will be offering free bus rides for guests.
