Coroner IDs 3 dead in Henderson crashes Monday
HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) -- Authorities have identified three people killed in two different Henderson car crashes on New Year's Eve.
Henderson police say the first crash happened about 10 a.m. Monday, when a 74-year-old woman driving a Toyota Camry the wrong way on Boulder Highway struck a Pontiac Grand Prix.
Clark County coroner's officials say 72-year-old Cecelia Nancy Vezinau and 74-year-old Frederick Vezinau were killed. Both were from Henderson.
The second crash happened about 2 p.m., when a Toyota Corolla entering Boulder Highway from a shopping center parking lot crossed into the path of a Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Officials say 91-year-old June Beasley of Boulder City was killed. Police say she was a passenger in the Toyota.
A total of 18 people were killed in Henderson vehicle accidents in 2012.
