Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the young girl killed in a sledding accident on New Year's Day as 11-year-old Vanesa Lara of Las Vegas.
It was initially reported that the girl was 8 years old.
The accident happened at about noon in an area known as the Meadows, off State Route 156 near Lee Canyon.
