Crews called to early morning house fire on Melody Lane
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A family's dog and her puppies were killed in a fire that ripped through their home early Sunday morning.
It happened on Melody Lane, near Valley Drive.
The American Red Cross told Action News they are assisting two adults and one child, who were home at the time but made it out safely.
The fire was brought under control a short time after firefighters arrived, but it was raging at one point with heavy smoke and flames.
Investigators are looking into what started the fire.
