Fundraiser held for the family of Jade Morris
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local community members continue to show their support for the family of Jade Morris.
Thursday, Jade's body was found in the desert. The coroner said the 10-year-old died from multiple stab wounds.
Saturday, the North Las Vegas Silvercats Football Team held a fundraiser for Jade's family.
They took donations at the Chevron on MLK and Cheyenne.
Organizers said it was the least they could do, to help the family during this difficult time.
The fundraiser brought in more than $500 for the family.
Also, a couple local motorcycle clubs are planning to raise money to help pay for Jade's funeral.
The Las Vegas Ruff Ryders and Las Vegas Deuces are holding a donation car and bike wash Sunday, Dec. 30.
It's scheduled from 1-4 p.m. at 814 West Bonanza, near H Street.
