Woman in Bellagio attack appears in court
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Brenda Stokes, the woman accused of slashing a co-worker with razor blades on Dec. 21 at the Bellagio hotel-casino, appeared in court this morning.
Police also suspect that she has a connection to the disappearance of a 10-year-old girl.
The family of Jade Morris says that Stokes picked Jade up to go shopping on the morning that Stokes is accused of attacking a co-worker.
Jade's dad and Brenda Stokes' fiance was in court this morning but was escorted out after shouting questions at Stokes about his little girl.
Stokes is being charged with burglary, battery with a deadly weapon, battery with use of a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm, and mayhem.
Stokes is due back in court on Friday.
