Catholic Charities continues tradition of feeding homeless on Christmas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Today, people across the Las Vegas Valley were helping spread the Christmas spirit by giving back to those in need.
Volunteers at Catholic Charities served hot meals to hundreds of homeless at their local dining facility.
The dinner featured turkey, potatoes, vegetables and something sweet -- creme brulee.
Catholic Charities says that it served about 1,200 meals to families and individuals.
About 150 volunteers helped serve the meal. Some of the volunteers came from MGM Resorts International and Cimarron Memorial High School.
