Woman hit by car on Las Vegas Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman was transported to UMC in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle.
It happened Sunday afternoon at Las Vegas Boulevard and Charleston.
Witness statements and evidence at the scene suggest the 1986 Ferrari was traveling southbound in the right lane of South Las Vegas Boulevard heading towards Park Paseo Drive when 39-year old Jennie Brown was struck outside of a marked crosswalk.
Police are hoping the Brown pulls through, but she's in the hospital with critical injuries to her back, neck and head.
Las Vegas Police said she was not in a marked crosswalk, which is actually a growing problem along the Las Vegas Strip.
Police also said the driver who hit the woman, may have been speeding.
Action News will bring you more details on the crash as they become available.
