Arturo Martinez rebuilding his life months after brutal attack
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man and his young sons are fighting to rebuild their lives months after a vicious break-in and attack.
In April, Arturo Martinez was attacked with a claw hammer and left for dead. A man broke into his home and assaulted and murdered his wife and ten-year-old daughter.
Arturo went through two major brain surgeries and spent more than a month in a rehabilitation facility.
Now, he is doing much better, working at the boxing gym he helped open and spending most of his time with his sons.
"Life keeps moving and I have to keep moving," Arturo said. "I can't be sad because my sons will be sad."
Police believe Brian Clay was responsible for the murders and attack on Martinez. He has pleaded not guilty in court and is currently awaiting trial.
