8 residents displaced in NW apartment fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Eight people were displaced in an apartment fire in the northwest part of the Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
Fire authorities said heavy smoke was reported at the 2-story building on Clifford Street at about 4:10 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found the fire confined to one unit.
Six children and two adults were displaced. They are being helped by the Red Cross.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
