Local man wins $20K in McDonald's Monopoly
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local man is $20,000 richer after winning an instant cash prize in McDonald's Monopoly game.
Clifford Y. of Las Vegas ordered hash browns for his son one morning at the McDonald's inside Walmart on 215 and Rainbow. When he pulled back the ticket, it said "Instant Winner $20,000."
"I am going to put this money in savings. My son is five years old so this money will be for his future," Clifford said.
The McDonald's Monopoly game is played by collecting game pieces on select food items sold at the restaurant.
"We are so excited to have a winner here in Las Vegas," said Thomas Arlt, president of the local McDonald's Operator Association.
As for Clifford, he's glad he didn't pass up those hash browns.
"This is like a miracle," he said.
