Salvation Army receives donation from Rich Little
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Salvation Army received a very generous donation Tuesday.
Comedian Rich Little stopped by the homeless shelter on West Owens to drop off $8,000.
Little said the money will be used to buy blankets, socks, underwear, hygiene products and sleeping bags for the guests at the shelter.
He said Tuesday's gift was in honor of his late wife, who considered the Salvation Army as one of her favorite organizations.
