Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's something many people don't think about. Finding a place for pets to live, once their owners pass away or move into a home.
Saturday, the "Those Left Behind Foundation" held a holiday celebration and fundraiser at Smarty Paws Canine Coaching Arena on Rancho Drive.
The group uses 100-percent of donations for their pets, and it's run entirely by volunteers.
The foundation helps find foster families for the dogs, cats and even birds left behind.
They also adopt many of their animals out to qualified homes.
