Officials discuss concerns about future of water in Southwest
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Interior Secretary Ken Salazar was in Las Vegas discussing concerns about the future of water in the Southwest.
He was in town for a conference on water conservation.
Salazar said rising demand and falling supply could lead to a water shortage over the next 50 years.
He stressed that Las Vegas isn't the only place in trouble.
Denver, Phoenix and Los Angeles are all facing dry days ahead.
