Time running out to mail Christmas packages

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- If you want to send gifts to loved ones before Christmas, you will want to get to the post office Friday.
According to the United States Postal Service, Friday is the last day to mail your packages regular parcel post if you want to be sure that they are delivered in time for Christmas.
There are still some options next week.
The deadline for first class mail is Dec. 20 and for priority mail, it is Dec. 21.
Express mail must be sent by Dec. 22.
Federal Express and UPS are also options. Their deadlines for ground shipping are Dec. 17 and 18 respectively.
Just keep in mind that the longer your wait, the longer the lines.
The post office expects the busiest day of the month to be Monday, Dec. 17. That is because many people will complete their shopping and wrapping this weekend.
