Nevada Cancer Institute to close in January
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nevada Cancer Institute will be closing at the end of January.
A statement from the University of California - San Diego Health System confirmed the news on Wednesday.
Until then, staff will work to find other care for their patients.
The closure also means 75 employees will lose their jobs.
The move stems from a disagreement between UC San Diego and Universal Health Services, which controls the building lease.
