Tech Cocktail Week highlights startup community in downtown Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A new event hopes to highlight the Las Vegas startup community, along with everything the burgeoning downtown scene has to offer.
Tech Cocktail Week organizers are inviting technology leaders and investors from across the world to share inspiration and network with the downtown movers and shakers.
The event spans from this Wednesday through Friday night, featuring co-working, speakers and mentorship opportunities.
A welcome reception to greet out-of-town guests is planned for Wednesday, followed by several speaking events on Thursday. One of those speakers will be Las Vegas' own Tony Hsieh, who will provide an overview of the Downtown Project.
As the three-day event wraps up on Friday, startup entrepreneurs will have a chance to tout their products during a showcase and mixer.
