Rain, mountain snow expected later this week
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Temperatures will be taking a dip soon, and don't expect to wake up to sunny skies come Wednesday morning.
Action News Meteorologist Mike Tsolinas predicts cloudy skies on Wednesday, with temperatures dipping to the low-40's and peaking at 64 degrees.
On Thursday, expect showers across the Las Vegas area and snow in the mountains.
In fact, higher elevations, like the Mount Charleston area, could see more than four inches of snow.
The rain will continue through Friday.
Both days, temperatures will peak in the low 50's.
Sunny skies are expected to return just in time for the weekend, with the rain expected to subside by Saturday and Sunday.
