Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- In a town where lots of folks eat too much, drink too much and smoke too much, it is no secret that healthy living is not our strong suite.

But, when it comes down to it, where does Nevada actually rank on the healthy scale?

According to the 2012 Healthiest Cities List, it is pretty far down.

The list compares 24 measures of healthy including tobacco and alcohol abuse, exercise and infectious diseases.

It also takes local crime rates into account.

The report, by the United Health Foundation, named Vermont the healthiest state for the 6th year in a row.

Vermont was followed by Hawaii and New Hampshire was number three.

Nevada came in at number 38.
