Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Diocese of Las Vegas is mourning the loss Monsignor Patrick Leary, the long-time CEO of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.
Monsignor Leary joined the Diocese of Reno-Las Vegas in 1989 and took over operations at Catholic Charities in 2003.
Church members said the 24 programs offered by the charity flourished under his guidance.
Monsignor Leary was 63 years old.
The Diocese said because of his impact in the local community, seating and space for his funeral services will be limited.
The funeral mass will be held at the Guardian Angel Cathedral in Las Vegas this Saturday at 10 a.m.
